Getting Started

Everything you need to know to begin using Frisbee

What is Frisbee and how does it help my stud business?
Frisbee is a CRM, sales, and marketing platform designed specifically for stud breeders. It helps you manage client relationships, run professional sales, create sale catalogues, send targeted marketing campaigns, and analyse your sales performance - all in one integrated system. Frisbee also supports animal records and data management to power your sales and marketing efforts.
How do I get started with Frisbee?
Getting started is easy! Sign up for a free trial on our website, and you'll receive an email with login credentials. Once logged in, our setup wizard will guide you through the initial configuration, including adding your first animals, setting up your stud details, and customising the platform to match your needs. We also offer complimentary onboarding calls to help you get up and running quickly.
Can I import my existing livestock data?
Yes! Frisbee supports bulk importing of data from Excel spreadsheets, CSV files, and other common formats. We provide templates to help you format your data correctly, and our support team can assist with the import process. You can import client lists, animal records, and historical sale data to quickly populate your account.
Is Frisbee suitable for both cattle and sheep operations?
Absolutely! Frisbee is designed to support all types of livestock operations, including cattle, sheep, goats, and other species. The platform adapts to your specific needs with customisable fields, breed-specific features, and integration with relevant breed societies for both cattle and sheep. Many of our clients run multiple species on the same account.
How long does it take to set up my account?
Basic setup can be completed in as little as 30 minutes. This includes creating your account, adding basic stud information, and entering a few animals. Full implementation, including importing all historical data and customising workflows, typically takes 1-2 weeks depending on the size of your operation. Our team is available to help speed up the process.
Do you offer training for new users?
Yes, we provide comprehensive training options including: video tutorials accessible 24/7, live webinar training sessions, one-on-one onboarding calls, detailed user documentation, and for larger operations, we can arrange on-site training. All new accounts also receive a personalised onboarding session to ensure you're confident using the platform.
What equipment do I need to use Frisbee?
Frisbee is cloud-based, so you just need a device with internet access. It works on desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. We recommend a reliable internet connection for the best experience, though our mobile apps can work offline for essential tasks. No special hardware is required, though we do integrate with RFID readers and scales if you use them.

Pricing & Billing

Subscription plans, payments, and billing questions

What subscription plans are available?
Frisbee offers four main plans: Basic (for studs up to 1,000 animals), Stud Pro (for growing operations up to 5,000 animals), Premium (for larger studs up to 15,000 animals), and Enterprise (unlimited animals with advanced features). Each plan includes different levels of features, support, and user accounts. Visit our pricing page for detailed comparisons and current pricing.
Can I change my plan at any time?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. If you downgrade, the change takes effect at your next billing cycle. Your data is always preserved when changing plans, though some features may become unavailable on lower tiers.
Do you offer discounts for annual billing?
Yes! Annual billing saves you approximately 15% compared to monthly payments. This is our most popular option as it provides the best value and locks in your rate for the full year.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), direct debit from Australian bank accounts, and for Enterprise customers, we can arrange invoicing with NET 30 terms. All payments are processed securely through Stripe, and we never store your payment details on our servers.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time with no cancellation fees. If you cancel, you'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period. We also offer the option to pause your subscription for up to 3 months if you need a temporary break.
Are there any setup fees?
No, there are no setup fees for any of our standard plans. You only pay the monthly or annual subscription fee. However, if you require custom data migration, on-site training, or bespoke integrations, these professional services are quoted separately.
Do you offer discounts for breed societies or groups?
Yes, we offer special pricing for breed societies and group purchases. If you're part of a breed society looking to offer Frisbee to members, or want to coordinate a group of studs to use Frisbee together, contact our partnerships team for custom pricing options.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data belongs to you. If you cancel, you have 30 days to export all your data using our export tools. After 30 days, we archive your data for an additional 60 days in case you decide to return. After 90 days total, data is permanently deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.

Animal Records

Recording and managing your animal data for sales

How many animals can I track in Frisbee?
The number of animals depends on your subscription plan. Basic plans support up to 1,000 animals, Stud Pro plans up to 5,000, Premium plans up to 15,000, and Enterprise plans have unlimited animals. Historical/sold animals don't count towards these limits. You can always see your current usage in your account settings.
Can I track both breeding and commercial stock?
Yes! Frisbee supports different animal categories including breeding stock, commercial animals, recipient dams, and sale animals. You can tag animals appropriately and filter your views based on these categories. The system adapts its features based on the animal type you're working with.
Can I build sale-ready animal profiles?
Yes! Every animal gets a complete profile with photos, video, genetic data, and key details that you can use directly in sale catalogues and marketing materials. Profiles are designed to help you present animals professionally to buyers.
Can I record genetic data like EBVs and ASBVs?
Yes, Frisbee lets you record and display EBV and ASBV data in animal profiles, sale catalogues, and marketing materials. Showcase genetic merit alongside photos and performance data to help buyers make informed decisions.
How do animal records integrate with sales and marketing?
Animal records flow directly into your sale catalogues and marketing campaigns. When you create a catalogue or send a marketing email, you can pull in animal details, photos, and genetic data automatically - no re-entering information.

Sales & Marketing

Running sales, creating catalogues, and marketing

How do I create a sale catalogue?
Creating a catalogue is simple with our drag-and-drop catalogue builder. Select animals for your sale, arrange them in lots, add photos and videos, include descriptions and genetic data, then generate a professional PDF or digital catalogue. Templates are available to match your brand, and you can preview before publishing.
Can I customise my sale catalogue design?
Yes! You can fully customise catalogue design including your logo and brand colours, fonts and layout styles, cover pages and introductions, lot page templates, and footer information. Save your designs as templates for consistent branding across all sales.
Can I integrate with AuctionsPlus or other platforms?
Not currently but this is on our roadmap. We plan to integrate with popular online auction platforms like AuctionsPlus, Stud Beef, and others to streamline the sale process. In the meantime, you can export your catalogue and upload it manually to these platforms.
How do I track buyer interest and enquiries?
The CRM features help you track all buyer interactions including enquiry history, animals they've viewed, previous purchases, communication logs, and follow-up reminders. You can see which lots are getting attention and proactively engage interested buyers.
Can I send marketing emails to my client list?
Yes! Frisbee includes email marketing tools. Create beautiful emails using templates, segment your client list for targeted campaigns, schedule sending times, track open and click rates, and maintain unsubscribe preferences. Perfect for sale announcements, newsletters, and updates.
